IN PROGRESS'Traditions' by Susan Freckleton.Inspirations magazine issue 20 1998, This is a bit tragic really. This is supposed to be the most stunning christening gown you ever saw. My cousin, Deb Elliott, and I independently fell in love with the pattern and decided to make it together. The piece shown here is actually a practice piece done on nylon net with a heavier weight thread. The gown will be made from cotton tulle and embroidered with finer threads. It really will be a work of art. Digital cameras don't seem to like photographing anything made up of small squares. |
