This is a quilt I worked on some time ago, but was intended as a surprise gift, so I couldn't put it on my website until the recipient had received it. The idea comes from a Kaffe Fassett design. The WOW Quilting ladies made a few blocks each, then a team met at my house to stitch the blocks together and I finished off the quilt with stitch in the ditch quilting and tying in bright flower thread ties. I used a striped fabric for the binding, and was very proud to be able to manage an exact number of repeats with the stripes in the binding, so that the start and finish is impossible to spot.
