Patchwork Folder

"Brenda's take it with you patchwork folder" Patchwork by Post: Kanimbla Cottage Cope Cope.

This was pieced, quilted and assembled entirely by hand. I swapped the acrylic wadding that came with the kit for wool batting which is thinner and more resilient. Also, the back page, I quilted with a trapunto design that I made up for myself. I wanted to try trapunto, and I wanted the book to have an extra soft and protective back cover. I use the book to transport all sorts of small fabric projects, especially completed embroidery pictures that I want to take to the framers without crushing.
