loving memory of Amy Sophia (Gipsy) eldest daughter of Frederick A Buckley and
Amy his wife. She died May 3rd 1884 aged 4 years."
b) "Sacred
to the memory of Benjamin Ingram Buckley died October 15th 1876 aged 35
years."
c) "Sacred
to the memory of Benjamin Buckley died February 3rd 1897 aged 83 years and of
his wife Hannah Buckley died October 5th 1886 aged 60 years."
BUCKLEY,
Benjamin: "This stone was erected by Susanna Buckley in memory of her
beloved husband Benjamin Buckley who departed this life the 10th of February
1807 aged 27 years."
[This Susanna
would be Susanna Hoare, who married a Benjamin Buckley on 23 July 1804 at
Powerscourt Wicklow. Benjamin was born in 1780]
BUCKLEY, John.
"Erected by Rachel Buckley in memory of her husband John Buckley departed
this life March the 3rd 1817 aged 28 years also his daughter Mary Saunders
born 20th September 1807 died 13th August 1885."

BUCKLEY William
"Erected in memory of William Buckley of Enniskerry born November 10 1824
died August 10 1885 also his wife Catherine Buckley born July 12 1823 died Sep
10 1893
BURTON, Beresford: "This tomb was erected by Richard Fox of Cooligad to
the memory of his Aunts, Berresford and Bridget Burton, late of French
Street in the City of Dublin. Berresford died 8th February 1833 aged 63
years and Bridget died 15th November 1842 aged 65 years."
[Hence this Beresford was born 1770 and Bridget in 1777. This is a different
Beresford Burton to the one born in 1735 who married Richard Strong. Most
likely a niece(?)]
BURTON, Lieut Wingfield. "Erected by Richard Burton in memory of his
parents, Lieut Wingfield Burton who departed this life 17th August 1835 in
his 84th year and Jane Burton who departed this life 10th day of August 1812
in her 41st year."
[Hence Wingfield Burton was born about 1752. This Jane is most likely Jane
Newbank, who married a Wingfield Burton on 10th April 1790 at Rathdrum,
Wicklow. Jane was born about 1772. When they married in 1790 therefore,
Wingfield was 38 and Jane 18.]
DALTON, John.
"This stone and burial ground belongeth to John Dalton of Chamber Street
in the City of Dublin Clothier for him and his posterity. Here lieth the
remains of the above John Dalton who departed this life the 3rd of March 1809
aged 60 years. Here also lieth John Mary George and Thomas Dalton children of
the above. Her lieth the remains of John Dalton of Stile Bawn father to the
above. Also Andrew John Dalton died January 1813 aged 35 years son of the
above John Dalton of Chamber Street and Mary Dalton wife of said John
Dalton" [the remainder of the inscription is underground]
DARLINGTON, John.
"Sacred to the memory of John Darlington of Monastery Enniskerry who
departed this life 15th October 1827 aged 30 years and of Anne his wife who
died 20th April 1874 aged 84 and of their daughter Marianne who died 13th
December 1900 aged 76 and of their son John who departed this life 20th April
1905 aged 77.

aged 37 also of his daughter Charlotte Augusta Mary born 17th October 1817
died in Christ 30th January 1891."
HAMILTON, Henry
"Sacred to the memory of Henry Hamilton Esq of Tullylish House Co. Down
third son of the late Rt Rev Hugh Hamilton Lord Bishop of Ossory who departed
this life on the 7th day of Decr 1834 in the 55th year of his age. His widow
Sarh 3rd daughter of Revd Michael Sandys died Novr 28th 1871 aged 87 years.
Mary Charlotte daughter of the Revd Henry Ormsby wife of Revd Hugh Hamilton
died October 24th 1873 aged 67 years. Mary Amelia Julia 3rd daughter of Hugh
and Mary Hamilton died Feb 3 1856 aged 4 years."

died 3rd July 1912.

d) Sacred to the memory of Richard Wingfield who departed this life the 24th
of April 1808 aged 5 years and 3 months son of Honble Coln Wingfield of Cork
Abbey and to the memory of Amelia Wingfield his daughter who died on the
12th April 1808 aged 2 years and 4 months, also of Harriett Jane daughter of
Lt Coln Werner of Churchill on the County of Armagh and of Harriett his
wife, daughter of Col Wingfield. She departed this life at Cork Abbey the
15th January 1828 aged 7 years and 6 months (?). Cecilia dau iof Sir W.
Verner Bt KCH M.P. died Nov 20 1848 aged 16. Col the Honourable Wingfield of
Cork Abbey, son of Richard 3rd Viscount Powerscourt, died Aug 24th aged 87
and Harriett his wife dau of H Westenra Esq M.P. died Dec 16 1858 aged
82.

BUCKLEY
281. This grave
of the Buckleys has an old granite headstone of which the lettering is so worn
that it is hardly decipherable. It begins however . "Here lieth the body
of Thomas Buckley of Phrompstown... who depart....." A horizontal slab
lately placed, contains the names:
1) Samule Manning
Buckley who died at Phromstown 14 Feb 1894 in his 81st year.
2) Anne his wife,
Phromstown age 40, died Sep 25 1864.
3) Eleanor
Buckley, Hillside Kilmacanogie, late of Foxborough age 92, 15 Nov 1906.
4) Elizabeth
Buckley (10 Bayswater Terrace Greystones) aged 82, Oct 11/24
5) William
Buckley aged 78, Oct 13/24
